Sweet treats and smiles were all part of this year’s highly successful Mother Daughter Tea
Sweet treats and smiles were all part of this year’s highly successful Mother Daughter Tea

Just lovely! The ladies and girls who attended. The hats. The dresses. The teacups that dotted the tables in Studio A at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center. “Lovely” describes the whole evening as more than 100 mothers, daughters, and friends enjoyed tea, sweet treats, and music on Nov. 8 at the second annual tea to support scholarships for students involved in anti-bullying, mediation, diversity and/or social justice at Dearborn High, Edsel Ford and Fordson (D.E.F.F.)

Prizes were awarded in a variety of categories including Craziest Hat, Most Elegant Hat and Best Hijab.

Congratulations to the students from each high school who received many thanks for coordinating the lovely scholarship fundraising event along with advisors Stacy Rumler at DHS, Mary Popp at Edsel Ford, and Kelly Herrick at Fordson.
