Bryant to host June 2 walk-in vaccination clinic

A boy receives a COVID vaccination during a clinic at Edsel Ford High School in May.

Dearborn Public Schools is offering a final COVID vaccination opportunity for this school year.

The Wayne County Health Department will administer Pfizer vaccinations at Bryant Middle School on Wednesday, June 2 from 8 to 11 a.m.  The second shot will be administered at Bryant on June 23.

Students, parents and community members are welcome at this walk-in clinic.  No appointment is needed.

Bryant Middle School is near Telegraph and Cherry Hill roads. To access the clinic, please use the school parking lot.  From Cherry Hill Road, just west of Telegraph, take Drexel Street north into the lot.  (Hint, in Google Maps enter 500 Drexel, Dearborn, MI.)

The Pfizer vaccine has been approved for people 12 years of age or older.  Anyone under the age of 18 is required to have a parent or guardian with them to receive the vaccination.

Although the district understands parents have a personal choice when it comes to the wellbeing of their child, the district strongly feels that all methods to slow the spread of COVID 19, including vaccinations, are the best way to promote overall health and safety in our community and the surest path to a return to in-person learning for all students.

Families are encouraged to get vaccinations wherever they are available.

If you have questions, please contact the Superintendent’s office at (313) 827-3020.
