On Oct. 10, 2025, Dearborn’s three traditional high schools – Fordson, Dearborn, and Edsel Ford—will host homecoming events that include afternoon parades and evening football games. The community is invited to enjoy these events and help celebrate the district’s students.
The day’s events will begin at Fordson High School, where the parade starts at 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 10. Fordson High sits at 13800 Ford Road. The parade will start behind the school, travel along Alber and Neckel streets and end up on Horger. That night at 7 p.m. the Fordson Tractors will take on the Chargers of Livonia Churchill.
At Edsel Ford High, the homecoming parade will start at 4:45 p.m. Edsel’s parade will leave the staff parking lot behind the school at 20601 Rotunda and travel down Pelham Road west to Westminster Court, north on Audette to Rotunda (Village Road) and then back to the student parking lot. Spectators are encouraged to line Audette to see the parade. After the parade, the action moves to the football field as the Thunderbirds host the Lincoln Park Railsplitters starting at 7 p.m.
Dearborn High will also take part in homecoming festivities on October 10th. That parade will begin at 4:45 p.m. with the route starting from the student parking lot across the street from the high school, located at 19501 Outer Drive. The parade will travel north on South York, left on Fordson to South Highland, north to Marshall, east on Marshall onto South York and back to Outer Drive. At 7 p.m. on that day, the Dearborn High Pioneers will take on the Zebras of Wayne Memorial High School.
The parades will include a marching band, the homecoming court, floats, and student groups. Students from the middle and elementary schools that feed into that high school were also invited to participate.
All three Homecoming games will be broadcast on the NFHS network streaming service.
