To assist with residents who have questions about infrastructure needs in the district, Dearborn Public Schools has released a digital copy of the Quinn Evans facility report completed in June 2025.
The massive report contains detailed information about almost every building in the district. The only buildings not included are two that were acquired in recent years and remodeled last year for the Henry Ford Early Colleges.
As the executive summary says, “The goal of these assessments was to provide information on the current condition at each school and to enable a data driven discussion on the needs of specific schools.”
In addition to visiting the schools, the Quinn Evans team also talked to 22 principals and other district staff and administrators about conditions and challenges in each of the buildings.
The study built on one done two years earlier by Fielding International, which focused more on envisioning long-term educational needs in the district and recommended high level changes such as reconfiguring schools and combining the traditional high schools onto one site. The current bond proposal is a melding of both of those studies as well as extensive community input since the 2019 bond failed. The firm Byrum and Fisk worked in 2025 to gather a more comprehensive look at community input with stakeholder meetings, focus groups, and an official survey of district residents.

The report comes in three volumes, which are listed below. To make the information more accessible, the sections for each school have also been broken out into their own files and added to the 2026 bond information by school webpage.
