Care to the Core will return on Oct. 6 with a live kickoff on YouTube at 8:30 a.m.
The event will include interviews with Superintendent Mike Esseily and others, mascot games, school videos, cheering students and more.
In addition to the live kickoff, schools across the district will hold their own Care to the Core activities throughout the day.
Care to the Core is a chance for the district to highlight a variety of programs and activities schools do each year to ensure our schools are friendly, welcoming spaces. The event grew out of the district’s long-standing tradition of hosting anti-bullying activities. Today’s thinking is broader than just anti-bullying and includes creating student connections and addressing concerns that impact students’ mental, emotional, and physical health.
Community members are invited to watch the event live online starting at 8:30 that morning or they can check out the program later on YouTube.
