The Michael Berry Career Center is looking for business and community partners to help ensure the district’s career programs are meeting local industry’s needs and expectations.
The center is part of the Dearborn Public Schools, and its career programs are available to nearly 5,700 students from Fordson, Edsel Ford and Dearborn high schools.
MBCC is specifically looking for partners for the following areas: automotive technician, business careers, construction trades, criminal justice and law enforcement, culinary arts and hospitality, teaching and education careers, health and medical careers, and information technology including coding cybersecurity and digital design.
The next career center advisory meeting is set for Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 4:30 p.m. Attendees will review the district’s current career program offerings, learn about the Academies of Dearborn, and share industry trends and needs.
