Battle Against Hunger 2025

Students and families across Dearborn Public Schools are joined forces once again for the annual Battle Against Hunger food drive, running Nov. 10–14. Last year, the community donated an incredible 7.8 tons of food, and this year they’re aiming even higher. All collected food will support local families through Zaman International, while monetary donations will help the Amity Foundation. What began in 2015 as a friendly rivalry between Dearborn and Fordson high schools has grown into a district-wide effort. Donations will be gathered at 20 participating schools, including Becker, Bryant, Dearborn High, DuVall, Edsel Ford, Fordson, Haigh, Henry Ford Early College, Henry Ford Elementary, Howard, Lindbergh, Lowrey, McCollough/Unis, McDonald, Nowlin, Oakman, Salina Elementary, Salina Intermediate, Smith Middle, and William Ford.
